The final results of Israel's 2026 national election have been announced. After all votes were counted, the coalition supporting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secured 53 seats. Meanwhile, the opposition bloc won 48 seats, while Arab parties secured 19 seats.

The country's Central Election Commission (CEC) announced the final results early Friday (October 30). Voter turnout in the election stood at 77.9 percent, the highest in several decades. A total of 5,716,665 voters exercised their voting rights.

According to the final results, the Likud Party secured 27 seats. Yashar Party won 21 seats, Be'Yachad 12, Joint List 11, The Democrats 8 and Ra'am 8 seats.

In addition, Yisrael Beiteinu secured 7 seats, United Torah Judaism 7, Otzma Yehudit 7, Shas 6 and Religious Zionism 6 seats.

In the election, Yoaz Hendel's Reservists-Economic Party received 2.63 percent of the votes, failing to cross the 3.25 percent electoral threshold. Similarly, Ofer Winter's People of Israel Party received only 1.7 percent of the votes. The Charedi Public Party, known as an alternative political platform for the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community, received only 0.2 percent of the votes.

According to the final results, Netanyahu's supporting bloc failed to secure a majority. In the outgoing Knesset, parties supporting the current government held 68 seats. Following the new election, their number dropped to 53. As a result, political uncertainty has emerged over the formation of a new government in the country.

Israel's Central Election Commission said the official election results would be handed over to President Isaac Herzog next Wednesday, after completing the final verification process regarding any errors or complaints.

After that, the president will meet with the leaders of the political parties. He will hear their recommendations on which leader should be supported to form the new government. This process will determine the path towards forming Israel's next government.
